Pitch Summary
Prezi
We used prezi in order to present our music video ideas to the audience because we felt that it was a convenient software to use as it gives us the ability to make our presentation very animated and interesting for our target audience. We were able to add a variety of images and text which would help the audience to understand more clearly what our ideas are and how we plan to record them.
Our pitch was better than we expected as we were able to get our points across reasonably well and there was good feedback from the audience about our ideas. We were able to go into more depth about the information which was on the prezi so that it would not get boring for the audience to watch us read each slide word by word. It was important that our ideas were presented as good as possible due to the fact that the audience for the pitch was an actual representation of our target audience. Therefore, the feedback would be extremely beneficial to the progression and effect our music video has on the target audience.
One of the feedback questions that we had was about our idea of adding an extra scene at the beginning and in between our music video.

Location Recce
This is the location recce for our music video. I presented this on prezi as I think that it is much more easier to understand when using this software and I can easily add a variety of images in the locations that I am shooting in.

Idea For Music Video ( J HUS- Dem Boy Paigon)
Name Of Track- J Hus (Dem Boy Paigon)
After looking for several music videos which did not have a music video, we finally found a song by J Hus- Dem Boy Paigon. The song still supports our initial idea of a rap/grime style theme which meant that it was a perfect song to choose.
The Skeleton
For the skeleton of the music video we are planning to lip sync the song walking down a road so that in between them we can add some cut scenes and various effects when editing. We are planning to do all the effects in sync with the song so that it looks professional. After we have filmed our skeleton we can then film in other locations to add into the main video once we begin to edit later on.

Editing- Performance Based

We are planning to alter some of the lyrics and speed of the song into our own way, such as a remix, in order to change the dynamics of the song and to make the cut scenes more applicable to our resources and the time we have to record the video. For our music video, we are making the scenes mostly performanced based due to the fact that the song we are doing is not very narrative; However we are planning to include parts which are narrative based in order to make the audience understand the lyrics more. When the song pace increases we will increase the rate of cut scenes so that it links to the speed of the song and will make the lyrics mean more to the audience.

Case Study- Inspiration
From the case studies i looked at none of the music videos were of the same genre and style as the one which i am planning to do. However elements of the case study special effects and ideas to attract their intended target audience was very useful. For example, the actors in majority of the videos i looked at were in similar clothing to what their target audience would be wearing. Therefore, i took this idea from the case studies and we are going to make the actor of our video wear a tracksuit similar to what the artist usually wears in most of his videos. The clothing matches the type of song and the lyrics being said throughout the music video.
Tyreek- Filming the video and organising where the camera should be and the order of shooting which is going to make the music video run smoothly. Most of the video will be handheld for the skeleton scene where Arshyarn will be walking down the road.
At the moment we are not planning to use any props, however if the idea comes up nearer to the shooting time then we will perhaps includes props such as headphones, hats, and other items which will promote the music video.

All I need, all I need is my ride or die
Yo B, What's your name

Face looking pretty
But I'm staring at your AuhAuhAuh
And she don't want no scrub
A scrub is a guy that can't get no love from her
Zim Zimmer
Who's got the keys to the bimmer
Ride for my G's
And there ain't no team realer
J Hus enter the place
Big fat tool round my waist
Dem Boy Paigon
You can't bring them round me
Are you mad, you dey craze
Are you mad, you dey craze

Make me wanna wine and dine her
But one man can't satisfy her
She needs more wood for the fire
And if you don't wanna dance to the beat
Just bop your head to the beat
I invested in heat
So let a paigon try me...
Now he's thinking why me
J Hus enter the scene
Big fat tool in my jeans

Don't bring em round me
Are you mad, are you lean?
Are you mad, are you lean?
Oh, they don't wanna grind
Go get a day job, Go bill a line

Casting/Actors
Arshyan- The main lip syncing scenes and the skeleton will be performed by Arshyan. However for the cut scenes in between the skeleton we will get a variety of actors and the public to film scenes so that we have enough footage for the whole music video.
For the editing after the video scenes have been filmed, arshyan will do majority of the editing and special effects and i will put the scenes in order and sync with the lyrics so that the video flows more smoothly and creates a better vibe for the target audience. The programme we are going to use in order to edit is adobe premiere pro.

Locations
We are planning to use different areas around the local area such as Walthamstow and Leyton. For one our main scenes is walking down a road with houses and then we will alter the cut scenes between both the main video aspect and then the side road and other scenes inbetween in sync with the song. Our aim is to get members of the public or just random people to join in with some of the scenes, similar to j hus lean and bop, so that the video has more action then just a few scenes in the same locations. Also, there will be a scene shot in the film studio to replicate a professional studio where the music was recorded.
Different Locations... Roads with houses, Roads with shops, Public centres, Grassy Areas.
Ethical Considerations
Majority of the actors our age in the video will be black due to the fact that majority of the people associated with the grime/rap genre are of this ethnicity therefore they will know, and understand the lyrics and song more, than other ethnicities. However, if we find people of other ethnicities who also know the song then we will include them in some of the scenes of the video too.
Length
We are planning to make the music video a similar length to the actual song, however we are going to incorporate aspects of other songs in the final project therefore the overall video might be longer than the original. Our maximum video length will be 4 minutes because any longer will be too long and may make the audience become distracted or divert their attention away from the music video.
Target Audience
The target audience for our video is going to be people who listen to grime/rap and can relate to the language being used in the lyrics and most importantly understand what they mean. The costume that the actors will be wearing will represent the target audience and their style of clothing, for example, tracksuit for the main actor, is similar to what the style of dress is for the majority of the target audience.
Channel For Broadcast- Vimeo
We are going to use Vimeo in order to upload our music video because of youtube and their copyright system we will be able to upload the whole video with the audio onto youtube.

Ideas For Main Video
We began to start planning for our music video today however, it was hard to find a video we wanted to do which did not already have a music video. Teachers Feedback
Case Study Music Video
Akon- Holiday- Again, very brief without much analysis of specific shots / editing techniques, and no account of how this might help with your own ideas. Vanessa
Avicii- Wake Me Up- This feels incomplete as it is just a summary of what happens in the video, rather than an analysis of techniques. Vanessa
Naughty Boy- La La La- This is a decent start although I'm not sure I understand fully the theme of naughty boy- is it representing the artist? You are not very clear on editing techniques or the exact narrative progression. How will you use this for your own music video? Vanessa
